Paradise, CA Fishing Day

Today was my son's first time fishing, he's 2.5 years old, and he loved it! We did not catch any fish, but we did have a few other encounters.  It was great to see such a huge turnout for this great event put on by the Paradise Irrigation District. We loaded up the wagon and hiked down the trail until we picked out the perfect spot in this little cove. Shortly after arriving, he was sitting on a log and had ants crawling all over him.  A little bit later, he took a tumble into some black berry bushes, just a few scratches, he toughed it out. After all of that we finally got to the fishing :)

Mini Sessions!

I did some spring minis for the first time and I loved it!  Seeing all the little ones with their family's was great!  I had a tea party theme, an antique theme, and a camping theme!  I had so much fun finding all of the little items to include in the themes.  A few of the little ones had fun jumping on the couch! lol!  It was definitely a fast paced 2 days that left me exhausted, but I'm excited to plan another one soon! Just need to come up with a good theme!

The Strawn's Family Session!

I was so excited when Christa contacted me to photograph her little family! We had played sports together when we were younger and worked together during our college years.  It was fun to catch up with her and her husband and meet her new Sheba puppies Bosch & Winnie!  The pooches were easily entertained with a few gold fish that my son had left in the back of my truck!  So that was a win/win! Cleaned out my truck and got their attention.
She said that there were nervous about having photos, since the only photos they had done previously was at their wedding.  Even with them being nervous it only took a few minutes to get them to relax and their photos turned out stunning!
